Tuesday, November 27, 2007 @ 9:05 PM hey peopple i am back from camp. i am glad i survived (not physically but mentally). and should become a BASIC nco. lol. cant remember much about the camp, because it is not a very memorable one. cant believe how slack it is, 4 days not even pump 20. but they psycho us, 不烦死,也被吵死. thats beside the point quite ashame of myself, despite the TIRING activities we had, i still find myself in the S2 room (sick bay). the first was real bad, yes. bad, refer to jianler's blog, i would rather eat instant noodles, argh, oh i rather DONT eat. the chicken is like shit, wait, it is not like shit, at least shit is soft. then first i vommitted twice. nothing much i can remember, only the dirty games that we had. they put flour and a lot of wierd stuffs on the mat and ask us to roll over it then go into a pail of dunno wat (most likely glue, choclate?) to pick out a rubber band. and i see how bias ppl can get, all the trainers all from xin min, and i still cant accept the fact that they are so bias, keep on niao-ing hwa chong, wait or rather CHINESE HIGH, it is in out blood. oh well, its over. so who cares. and we didnt win best trainee. so sad. well alpha didnt win a single thing. but dont feel so sad, both alpha one and two. from strangers from the first day of theory, we progressed to become buddies on the last day of camp. at least we know we tried (not our best) and improved. 987FM Top 20 Countdown (23Nov- 30Nov) Bubbling Under Fergie - Clumsy Shayne Ward - If That's Ok With You Kayne West Feat T-Pain - Good Life 20) Alicia Keys - No One 19) 50 Cent Feat Justin Timberlake & Timbaland - Ayo Technology Paramore - Misery Business 18) Sean Kingston - Me Love 17) Melee - Built To Last 16) Yellowcard - Light Up The Sky 15) Relient K - Give Until There's Nothing To Give 14) Matchbox Twenty - How Far We've Come 13) The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Your Guardian Angel 12) James Blunt - 1973 11) Will.I.Am Feat Fergie - I Got It From My Mama 10) Colbie Caillat - Bubbly 9) Jonas Brothers - S.O.S 8) Good Charlotte - Dance Floor Anthem (I Don't Want To Be In Love) 7) Britney Spears - Gimme More 6) Backstreet Boys - Inconsolable 5) Aly & AJ - Potential Breakup Song 4) Kayne West - Stronger 3) Paramore - Misery Business 2) Paula DeAnda Feat Bow Wow - Easy 1) Timbaland Feat OneRepublic – Apologise What a great week of chart actions as we have a total of 2 new entries, 10 climbers, 8 droppers and no non-movers, which eventually means that we have a brand new number one this week, but who? We will just have to wait and find out. We start things off this week with a brand new entry from Alicia Keys with “No One”, what a year for comeback artist, isn’t it? First we have Britney Spears, then the Backstreet Boys, and now Alicia Keys. Continue down the charts, 50 cents collaboration with Justin Timberlake- “Ayo Technology” inches up one to 19, while 17 years old Sean Kingston drops a whopping 6 notches to 18. The second new entry this week belongs to Melee as they are “Build to Last” at 17. Guess all the publicity on the recent Ferrero Rocher advertisement must have helped quite a lot. Yellowvard slips 5 down to 16. Meanwhile at 15, we have Relient K with “Give Until There’s Nothing To Give. Matchbox Twenty also moves up to 14. Going in opposite direction, we have the former number one- “Your Guardian Angel” by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Back to the rend we have James Blunt with “1972” as he inches up to 12. Former BEP(Black Eyed Peas) Will.I.Am amazingly slips out of the top 10, considering the fact that they were at number 2 just 2 weeks back. Sensational. At the half way line, we have Cobbie Caillat and The Jonas Brothers moving up to 10 and 9 respectively. Good Charlotte’s charge to number, came to a drastic end as they falls off 2 to number 8 with Dancefloor Anthem (I Don't Wanna Be In Love). Both Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys moves up to 7and 6 respectively, as they seek to enter the top 5 in coming weeks. Into the top 5 territory, no love for the lovely sisters of Aly and Aj, as they “breaks up” with “The Potenial Breakup Song”. Another former number one- Kayne West drops 2 to 4, as he’s certainly not becoming “stronger”- how ironic. At number 3, we have the highest jumper of the year, this time coming from Paramore, moving up a massive 16 notches with “Misery Business”, definitely no “misery” for her. At number 2, we have last week number one song- “Easy”, a collaboration between two young artistes, Paula Deanda and Bow Wow, as they proves it is certainly not that “easy” to defend the number one spot, which everyone is vying for. So who has the hounour of knocking them off? Who have we not heard? Yes, it is Timbaland, this time with upcoming One Republic on the vocals with “Apologise” - what a soothing track, no apologies needed as they are officially the fastest song ever to reach number one, in just 3 weeks. But can they hold on to that coveted number one crown? Look’s who’s behind, we have our highest jumper of the year, Paramore, hopping to equal the record of the fastest number one song. How about Paula Deadnda, can they make a comeback? Don’t leave out the Backstreet Boys or even Britney Spears! Only time will tell, but be sure to stay tune to the 987 top 20 countdown every Friday from 8-11, and repeats on Sunday from 11-1, only on 987 FM. Next week’s top 5 predictions: 5. Stronger by Kayne West 4. Inconsolable by Backstreet Boys 3. Easy by Paula Deanda feat Bow Wow 2. Misery Business by Paramore 1. Apologise by Timbaland feat One Repbulic |
