BNCOC

Hi people

Sorry for not updating this few days because I have been very busy. Went for my brother’s (kindergarden) graduation. Time flies. 8 years have passed since I graduated from kindergarden and I don’t remember my graduation having so many dance items. Talking about the dance items…oh well guess they are still little kids so don’t expect something nice. I was like listening to 987 top 20 countdown during the whole performance, and I have to say that their speakers completely own me. I had to blast my earphone to even hear what is being played. After that went to MacDonalds, and I love them, not for the food, but they were playing 987! Yea, so I could listen and eat at the same time.

Saturday was pure crap. Yes crap. BNCOC (Basic NCO course) theory at North Vista Secondary. As usual Chee Shuan niao other SJAB people from other school like crazy, and also North Vista (sorry)

“I didn’t know there was this school called North Vista until today”
- Chee Shuan

“Wow. So cool they have two vice principal (car park showed two stands with “vice principal), we only have one”
- Chee Shuan

“No la. Is their vice principal has two cars”
- Xian Ning in reply to Chee Shuan

Enough of niao-ing. Ok BNCOC is pure crap. We were a bit late, then Jian Ler was already late then he chiong to Wei Dong and said “faster go change, you’re the course I/C” then we went to change, then like all the sirs all know his name liao. lol. Damn efficient, I try not to niao them, but guess it is too hard for me to resist. Yes as I was saying they were damn efficient. Ask us to fall in by 8, then we stand there for like 1 hour, then all the Sir/ Ma’am were like walking and talking around. Finally we could move after standing there for like an hour. Went to the LT. for some stupid briefing. Poor Wei Dong, bullied like siao. Because as the course I/C, he is suppose to report the strength to the person in charge and he had to give instructions passed down by the other Sirs. He tio niao-ed like siao.

“Wah, NCO needs to say please? You might as well kneel down and beg them?”

“Please” la, saying please is a sign of respect, and like what you’ve said in the first place, you want cadets to respect you, you need to respect the cadets. How ironic. Next was some stupid introduction to all the Ma’am and Sirs. Whoo!! S3 Ma’am!! How impressive! She has made herself so infamous in just 3 hours!

Damn lame, we had to change in and out of the uniform for don’t know how many times, damn irritating. Then it was some stupid ice-breaking game. Nothing much about it. In case you didn’t know, I am in Alpha 1, and I am alone! Crap. Never mind. Went back for some stupid lecture after that, I think Mei Zhu Ma’am is the nicest, at least she is nice and doesn’t scold people for no reason. Had lunch afterwards, as expected- chicken! Ok, never mind, that’s not the main point. So all there were 3 different companies- Alpha, Bravo and Charlie. And in each of this company, it is further split up into 1 and 2. During lunch we ate as a company, so Wei Chieh and Daniel were eating opposite me, and there was this Xin Min/ Nan Hua guy and he was talking about comp. team and how we beat them this year. 0.o poor boy he didn’t know that he is talking in front of next year’s AC1 and AC2 number 4 and AC1 number 3.

More lectures, then Wei Dong tio niao. Poor thing. Footdrill- this was damn crap, their footdrill was bad enough, but the worse thing was that Hwa Chong/ Chinese High’s footdrill is completely different- our timing, how we fall out. All different! We were screwed by them like siao. Completely despise!

I love RSM sir

Finally some interesting lectures by this sir by the name of Adrian Tan. 0.o He’s damn gl, he laughed at what he says and he’s also dead lame. Most importantly his English is zai!

“That people is smoking!”

Nothing much, finally after 8 hours of torturous stuff, we finally survived the first day of BNCOS, theory that is. To think that our corps were sparred from all the humiliation- footdrill, tio course I/C, think again. Next week course I/C is Daniel! ZOMG. Screwed again. They like purpose arrow us like that. Everything we tio just because we are different, perhaps this is why we are nat/zone champs =x

Wah, finally our whole squad is present together, all 11 people! The other school SJAB people damn funny la. Bo Han was like “I hate SJAB” then the girl said “How can you say this Bo Han! it is hurting me!” =.= how innocent

987 top 20
What a week, this is. All spread and balanced out with 2 new entries, 4 non movers, 8 climbers and 6 droppers. This week we begin with a brand new entry from Colbie Caillat with a hear-warming “Bubbly” at number 20. Everyone seems to be blaming Akon as he drops down to number 19, only peaking at 14. Matchbox twenty climbs up 2 to number 18 as they see “how far we’ve come”. The biggest dropper comes from Maroon 5, dropping a whopping 7 notches to number 17, perhaps this would be a “wake up call” for their fans that they need to vote. Pop queen Avril Lavigne is now tied for the longest stay in the charts of 15 weeks, despite dropping another 5 to 16.

Both James Blunt and the Jonas brothers moves up 2 to 15 and 13 respectively, in between the both of them we have Britney Spears with “Gimme more”, expect this song to soar up the charts as her album- Blackout had just released. The first non-mover of the week belongs to Yellowcard as they fails to “light up the sky” staying put at 12. The click five slips a further 5 to number 11.

In the top 10 territory we have yet another comeback artiste as Backstreet Boys seems to be “Inconsolable”. Sean Kingston seems to be the only one loving himself as he drops 2 to 9 after peaking at 7 as he “Me loves”. Daughtry seems to love the number 8 a lot, as he stays there for yet another week. Good Charlotte is making a charge into the top 5 with “dance floor anthem”. One of the two new entries this week belongs to producer Timbaland as he produced yet another wonderful track, this time together with One Republic with “apologise”. No apologies needed as they emerge as the highest new entry of the year just short of the record set by Justin Timberlake in 2004 as he debuted at 3 and of course Linkin Park- What I’ve done which debuted at 5 last year.

Into the top 5, we have the 3rd non-move of the week from Aly and Aj with “the potential breakup song”. Former number 1 the red jumpsuit apparatus, drops 2 to 4. It is sure “easy” for Paula Deanda and Bow Wow as they needed only 6 weeks to peak at 3. Will.I.Am’s “I got it from my mama” is at 2. Holding steady for yet another week, we have Kayne West! Number 1 for two weeks in a row! Can he get “stronger” and push for 3 weeks? Or will Will.I.Am’s “Mama” help him to get number 1? How about the “easy” Paula Deanda? Don’t leave out our highest new entry of the year, he may just become the fastest song to reach number 1! Their fate lies in your hands! Be sure to catch the 987 top 20 countdown- the only chart show that matters! every Friday from 8-10 and repeats on Sunday from 11-1.
