Hi all

Damn. My whole body is aching, especially my limbs, after the hike and clearing all the pumpings. Ok, as promised here’s what happened during my SJAB camp.

Day 1
Reached school at around 6.45 (which is 30 minutes earlier than the reporting time) then went to talk with the sec2s about the camp. Then I saw Adrian rolling coming down from the boarding school, at least he didn’t bring his trolley this time round. Fall in in Cadets Room; surprisingly most of us were there, other than Chao Xu (who’s at Jared Quek’s Chalet stop slacking, Daniel (pon camp?) and Bo Han (said he was not coming). Not bad at all. We started with the usual unpacking/packing ceremony. Guess we got the hang of it after 3 camps, and everything was quite smooth. They done away with the running part, probably because it was raining and SALT center was used by NCC people.

“Checked in(to)” our bunk, which is 3B classroom, wah air-con leh, but can’t on. Damn. What’s camp without pumpings? Last time there were I.O.U. (I owe u) then Y.O.U (you owe us) and a lot of other crap stuffs, now? SOMA- which we later found out is a kind of drugs that gives one sexual pleasures, thanks man. Had the usual irritatingbunk checks, walao Adrian Bunk I/C, and he screwed up like siao, cannot explain properly, then the first time, we owe like crazy, 40 mistakes I think. Thanks. By afternoon, we owe don’t know how many SOMA liao.

Wow noon we realized that Bo Han was coming. Stun. I mean even before came, we owe thanks to the intelligence of some people. Plus Bo Han? Please add a “0” behind. As expected, we started owing like crazy because of some stupid and redundant stuff. After noon, we had triage, where we needed to form a team and go around to school to save other people, and then we needed to transfer them back to our bunk. Thanks Wei Dong for electing me as leader, the first case was at SALT centre, then the NCOs just asked who the leader was, then they just stabbed me and said I was dead/injured. Siao so they needed to treat me and not forgetting the original casualties. The worse part was that they needed to transport me all the way back to bunk (from SALT centre to Sec3 block) and just so you know I am 60+ kg. And there were only 3 people, so Xian Ning went to find Bo Han to help them carry me up. Wow, maybe Bo Han is useful at times, they damn qiang, they actually carried me all the way up (other than the slope up from the car park)! Sorry guys, I know I am damn heavy. Sorry. Ok either way, the case was damn screwed, in the end we got screwed by the NCOs for not being serious enough. And we had to restart the whole triage and go as a whole squad. Wah suddenly we all damn serious liao, like some comp. team, meng everywhere, they done away with the transporting section as it was just too time-consuming. So in the end, I think we spend around an hour to clear all four check points where the casualties were.

Finally dinner, and the food was really good, better than the last time, and I actually managed to finish the whole packet. Went to bath then we had our anticipated movie screening in preparation for our night trail. Last time we watched The Grudge, and it was a bloody sick movie with a lot of disturbing noises. This time we watch Dead Silence, which was actually a English film (different from the past few which were Asian films) just so you know that day was Halloween. Hmm…was that why they showed the movie? It was quite ok, and I actually managed to watch most part of it, where all my other squadmates were either congregating at a corner talking/sleeping or some just cover their ears. Then only me, Elliot and some other sec2s watching. It is about a stupid doll like this



Yea, it was damn creepy at the last part. What the hell and only Elliot survived the whole movie! Again! For the fourth time in a row! He watched the whole bloody (or horror) movie. Even “zai sec2” Kenneth Lim failed to do so. OMG then the last part Adrian cried! Crap man. He was talking with Melvin for the most of the movie, than I think at the last part, they ran out of topics, so they were “forced” to watch. I think it was just too scary, eh? Adrian just broke down. Crying like some stupid baby. Then everyone stun diao. Wait, did they? Or were they already expecting it to happen? Oh well.

Nigh trail started at around 12+. Crap. The NCOs completely scam us, said that we could go in pairs, in the end only some of the sec2s were allowed, and then we had to go solo. Rawr, it was finally my turn, started from the workshop (room below drama centre, where the drama people keep their props), and it was pitch-dark. Siao, we were attached to a “ring” and it had to hold it through a raffia string. Please man, the workshop was like an obstacle course, twirl around and around. First was the pillar, then there was a see-saw, next to it the NCOs actually put a bird cage, and the string go pass it. Then there was also a dummy wearing the SJAB uniform. Wow. I finally got out of that dark, creepy place, then we had walked up a flight of stairs (behind drama centre), at the end of it, they placed an umbrella and some chairs there. =.= Ok, there was no Rihnna there, mind you. Perhaps Jay-Z, but either way, I couldn’t see him. Ok, back to the topic, the raffia string led us all the way down to the table tennis area, then canteen and gym. Pass, the gym gallery, where Adrian saw teletubbies (is that how you spell?) doing triple jump. The string went all the way down to the squash court, where SGT Wei Jie was there, and he asked me whether it was ok. After a few steps, ZOMG! My flashlight went out of battery, then I ran back to him, and asked for a new one. Wow lucky me, if not for him, I would have completed the rest of the trial without light. Siao after the squash court, there were another staircase (which led all the way up to the hall), my ring got tangled up there, and I spend around 5 minutes trying to solve it, in the midst of it, I saw a Yugioh card on the floor, after the trial, I found out that it was a “trap card” and the NCOs said that if you touched it you would be “trapped” LOL. After that I continued. SHIT. Scout’s kiddy place! Then the string twirled around the “haunted toilet” (door that is). Siao it was dead scary la, and I thought we had to go in. Then we continued, LOL they put a Shaolin Monk figurine. LOL, and you think this was scary? Think again. We continued up, till the back of Kha Khee Hall, SHIT I was stuck AGAIN! The raffia string was going vertically upwards, and there was no way I could hole my “ring” and continue going up, I spend some time trying to solve it, but to no avail, I blew the whistle, in hope that the NCOs would come and help. All dao. Thanks. I waited so long, that the guy behind me, Luk Yean caught up. We blew the whistle again, still dao, then we decided to abandon our “ring” and continue. Lucky for us, without the “ring” we need not follow the whole trail, if we could see the string at another place, we could just take a short-cut. Yea so we avoided the Kha Khee Hall, as we could see the string at the end of the gallery area. If you haven’t notice, I was going in pairs with Luk Yean XD. Ok, some light at the concourse, before going to the science block, all the way to SRC (Science Research Centre). LOL, then there were a few doors we had to open to walk up the stairs then down there motion sensor, so the lights would just on when you go there. =.= wow thanks again. Siao then they put a lot of items down there, baby doll, shoes…



Ok, you get what I mean, but somehow I missed the baby doll, wow. Freaky (did it went to the toilet when I was there?). Finally, we were out of the SRC, not before our beloved training head SGT Lim Kuan Yue scared us with a “boo” when we open the door, later I learnt that he was suppose to play a recording of a duck singing, when were there, but again he didn’t do it on me. LOL, but that was where me and Luk Yean were separated and had to go solo again. Damn. So we were already at the JC side liao, pass their canteen, it was quite ok because all the previous night trail went pass that place, so we were pretty much familiar with it, and there was nothing much freaky about it. LOL, then I found out Luk Yean actually caught up with me. Ok, finally we were reaching the end- JC canoeing room! The string led to a room, then I shine my torch light in, dead end! And when I turned back, BANG, someone closed the door! Crap la, I just open it again, then I shouted “eh dead end leh”, BANG again! An NCO shouted “here la” (from another room) I shined, then he just throw a basket ball out. =.= Yea end of night trail. Nights. Actually it is already morning 4+ liao. Wow, Adrian actually survived the night trail! with the accompany of 2 NCOs

Day 2
Siao, I expect them to let us rest lah, then the next day, 6+ near 7, they blew the whistle, we had to fall in, then went for morning PT! Please la, we just woke up, don’t even know what is happening then ask us to go run. =.= how clever. Actually it was not too bad an idea, after the run we were all refreshed! Exclude Adrian that is, he was dying, although we only ran 4 rounds (around the track). Ok, refreshing isn’t it?

Morning was basically bunk checks and T.O.C. (talking of cock). So as usual we started to owe more. LOL we had mockabalone and luo han zhai for lunch! so nice rite? After lunch, triage! But this time round it was the sec2s’ turn, so were casualties. Nothing much la, waited damn long for them to come, LOL heard that they needed 8 people + NCOs to carry Chee Shuan, our squad needed only 4 people to carry me. Compare and contrast.

Had soccer around 4+, street soccer, then I played as keeper, my team was quite ok with Shen Nan and Wei Chieh. I was like 5 match unbeaten…then in the end they finally broke pass me LOL the only unpleasant thing was that CPL JianLer injured himself, other than that it was quite a fun game. Fast Recovery!

ooo War games! Last year our motto was 心中有Porn, LOL now we changed to Pork! or otherwise, “strip the sec2s upside down”. Yea you know, my squad is a bunch of sickos. We did the Pork cheer before we played, and it worked, even though it was 8 (sec3s) vs 11 (sec2s), under a minute, Bo Han just solo and took their flag! We won! But apparently the sec2s felt that it was unfair, so RE MATCH! They were much clever this time round, as usual, Bo Han just meng solo up, and he got ganged by ALL 11 of them, yea so he was killed, what a big blow to our morale…so we decided to retreat and changed our plan. We only have 7 vs 11 now, so we decided to have an all-out attack, knowing that the sec2s would most likely hum. So we had a 5 man attack of me, Wei Chieh, Weidong, Chee Shuan and Xian Ning, leaving Melvin and Adrian to defend our flag at the other end of the field, we completely cornered them, how ingenious of them to hum at the CORNER. Crap la, we stalemate there. Even the referee (NCO) just sat down there and slack, LOL then we started doing lame things like scissor-paper-stones, games-like punch and kick A-B!! A-A-B!! LOL leng diao, after a while one of the sec2, Cheng En, got the flag and ran towards the other corner of the field, perhaps hoping that he could escape from us and go steal out flag, lucky I noticed and set the alarm “Pork!” so in the end he had to ran back, then this spark some action, he ran back then the sec2s abit confused, Xian Ning, was there trying to pin whoever who tried to ran pass. It was quite ok at first, then it started to breakdown, then they all started to gang Xian Ning! LOL, then the other 4 of us just meng in, shouting our motto of “Pork!”, Wei Chieh and Chee Shuan went for the flag, while me and Wei Dong helped them block and at the same time “strip the sec2s upside down” we managed to kill around 4 sec2, then Chee Shuan just ran in and took the flag in the midst of all this confusion. WON! There was no stopping Chee Shuan, guess the sec2s were just too obsessed if ganging Xian Ning, when they realized it was just too late, and in the end Xian Ning didn’t die! He held on there for at least 10 minutes, while the others helped “escort” Chee Shuan back.

Next was the NCOs vs Cadets match, they were just too powerful and completely outnumbered us, LOL me, Chee Shaun, Wei Dong was too tired to attack so we just protected the flag at the back. NCOs got ninja Bowie? We also have! Sorry to say buy I can’t believe the NCOs were so dumb and only realized after 20 minutes that me, Chee Shuan and Wei Dong were sitting on it! DUMB! Rawr, but in the end, Shen Nan managed to spot it. Yea so we lost, didn’t really care la, we spend too much energy meng-ing the sec2s in the previous game, maybe next year we can win. Woo, first time in war game I killed people! Siao my whole body tio scratched, bruise, blisters, sprains. I was too late and tired to go for a bath, so I had “talcum bath” not bad la.

Day 3
Had an early night, slept around 10+, and woke up at 4+ for trek! Woo. Bo Han plan the route, not too bad, just that the start we were rather slack. we stopped an Adam Road Food Centre to have breakfast =.= Lame diao, but after that it was quite physically demanding, our final destination was AMK hub, so we took some shortcuts via the private houses, cemetery and under the express way and reached Macritche reservoir. Rest, so we just continued from Macritche to Balastier, Whompa, Bradell, SERANGOON (yes my house, I went past my house) and finally AMK HUB!!! Damn tiring la, we were suppose to cover around 23 km, but there was not enough time, so we had to skip some check points, so we covered around 19km, even then it was damn tiring (not forgetting we are still caring our backpack+ FA materials). My Legs are still aching. Had Macs there, then we saw ex-NCOs- SiJie, Eugene and Chia Wu! What a pleasant surprise. Finally after 3 days, we have a good meal in a cool place. After we finished our meal, we went outside then there was this woman (who’s blind) singing to get some donation, at first she was singing some stupid old song, then she sang “big girls don’t cry”! Damn zai la, it was damn touching then everyone meng donate. *.* LOL Wei Chieh went to niao her la “OMG Fergie is here! Where?!” Went to take 74 back and it started raining, LOL me and weichieh went to niao again “she must be singing umbrella now!”

Rawr, damn tired after the trek, went to rest before we had recrea. at 4+ yea so fun, street soccer again! We played squad vs squad. First match was sec2 v sec3 again we were outnumbered 6 vs 10? lol but thanks to my brilliant defending and some great counter by Wei Chieh and Xian Ning, we won! Next was the NCOs, we were not outnumbered but outclassed! Wah seh, Clement + Shen Nan + Xian Bin + Zi Hao…tio pwn i was keeper, managed to keep out some shots, but it wasn’t soon before long that they start scoring via clement and Xian Bin, PWN!

Last night liao, we were suppose to sleep early for solo night, but the NCOs wanted to train us Footdrill MOI (Method of instruction) for BNCOC (basic NCO course) lol then we were split into two groups (one who’s have had MOI before and the other haven’t) Damn niao la, Adrian was damn funny, because in MOI you are suppose to become like the PC of the squad and teach them basic footdrill as if they are sec1 nubs, then Adrian went like this:

Adrian (to squad): go..go..good morning squad (it was evening please) I am Private Adrian…Private First Class A..A…Drian Tan, permission to enter squad.

=.= what the crap? you’re suppose to teach people, then you say thanks for teaching me?? Not forgetting his stupid face plus his super hight pitch tone. Not embarrassing liao. As quoted from Chee Shuan, this shouldn’t be MOI, it should be MOD- Method of destruction.

Ok, we sleep for only like 40minutes then have to wake up for solo night. I was allocated to drama center top floor beside the backdoor. It was damn bloody, SGT Swee Kiat warn me about that place, say that your seniors have been station here before, he have heard a lot of weird noises, so if you do you just go down and wait for us to come. For the first hour it was still quite ok. Did hear “weird noises” like opening and closing of door. Ok, stayed clam, but after than I heard more noises, heard screaming, tried to convince myself that it was just cat fighting, but than I heard more…singing…crying. Crap couldn’t hold on any longer, I blew the whistle. I admit I was damn scared, freaked out completely. Hyperventilated a bit, rest and calm for a while, it didn’t really worked, I was still freaked out, the sounds, so I just blew my whistle…finally after like 10mintues, they came to my rescue. So they changed my spot. Even then I can’t forget what happen there.

Shame on me. Guess the school is really haunted.

Siao solo nigh was 2hrs 45 minutes, totally over time! then it was already 3+, we still had another activity, where we were suppose to go into a room blind folded and find some stupid items, Bo Han went first then 5 minutes later he cam out, then NCO said no need to go liao, all return to bunk, lights out. =.= what crap did he do? wow so zai

Day 4
Argh! Last day PT again! ran around the big round (school gate) we were suppose to run within 8 minutes. Sounds easy? Yea it is, but we are suppose to wait for our squadmate, and you know my squad have Adrian, yea…so…you know…ok we failed. we needed to run again, but now on the 400m track. It was damn embarrassing, because there were JC girls. We are supposed to complete 3 laps within 11 minutes; again we have to wait for our squadmate. It just didn’t work, after 6 minutes, we only completed like 1.5 lap? Then CSM say if we don’t complete within the time limit, both squad will owe 1000 pumpings. ZOMG, we cheer and supported Adrian, it was damn embarrassing, JC girls were like laughing. We told the CSM that we help the sec2s pump because its not their fault. Rawr finally we completed 3 laps, and we almost made it, just a few seconds off. so we owe 1500 pumpings, buy CSM clear 500 for helping the sec2s do the pumpings, 500 for encouraging Adrian, and another 500 for almost completing the task. So we owe nothing, only the only we got from all the bunk checks and other various mistakes.

We had 400 SOMAs yesterday (at a rate of 1 SOMA = 10 pumpings) so we owe like 4000? Not bad la, I think I cleared around 300, a lot better than the previous camps, where I was damn weak, but still cannot compare to Xian Ning, Chee Shuan, Wei Dong and even Bo Han, they did around 600+ each, all spam one hand. Wei Dong did like like 5 one hand knuckle elevated, then Chee Shuan did at 100+ one hand over two days. Sicko. Ok Adrian improved did a total of 80 pumpings (exchange for sit-ups and squats that is, as a matter of fact he didn’t do a single pumping). With the help of the NCOs, for the first time we cleared all of our SOMA!! Went to help sec2s, crap la, their exchange rate is like crap, 1 one hand= 50 pumpings, ours only 5! If we were there, we would have completed a long time ago…siao then Kenneth Lim down there solo-ing, hand stand, one hand…he clear 2500 pumpings (exchange that is) alone. Walao I tell you sec2s if you’re reading this, you’re all too dependent on him la, if he pon camp or something, you all die liao.

YEA CAMP IS FINALLY OVER

And here’s some good news. FA test, only 2 people pass, and I am one of them second highest, ironically those who pass (only 2 la) are all A1s! Me and Xian Ning! what I 77 xp thankews thankews. And they selected the comp team (tentative to changes)

LOL AA looks quite zai, other than Chee Shuan, LOL fail FA test! AC is made up of sec2s, haha Wei Chieh number 4 leh! so zai. Missing significantly is Chao Xu. LOL, we already know who’s the sec2s liao, but is still tentative. Sec3s are more confirmed but the positions are still tentative to changes.
