This week’s chart actions have somehow reverted back to normal, following last week Déjà Vu. As we have 2 new entries, 5 droppers, 10 climbers and 3 non-movers. We start of the week from a brand new entry by the Dutchess- Fergie with “Clumsy”. Highest debut this week belongs to the Last Goodnight- “Pictures of You” at 19. Local Talent Mark Bonafide moves up 2 to number 18. While the not so “stronger” Kayne West moves in opposite direction, as he slips another 5 spots to 17. Back to the trend, Sugarbabes is at 16 with “Abut You Now”. Backstreet Boys are getting inconsolable as they drops 4 to 15, having only peaked at 5.

Malaysian Che’Nelle’s catchy “I Fell in Love With the DJ” is at 14. “S.O.S” is certainly not working for the Jonas Brothers as they slips 3 notches, out of the top 10! Jennifer Lopez inches up one, while Britney Spears shares the dubious honour of being the highest dropper this week with Kayne West, dropping 5 spots. Highest climber this week belongs to the collaboration between Jamie Scott & The Town, as they cruise into the top 10 from last week 18.
Back to back we have the joint highest climber, Rihanna and Ne-Yo with “Hate that I Love You”, at number 9. Meanwhile, Relient K is certainly trying to “Gives Until There’s Nothing Left” as they could only inch up 1 to 8. At number 7, Paula DeAnda together with Bow Wow finally slips down, after spending 2 weeks at number 3, proving to us that it isn’t that “Easy” after all. Alicia Keys closes into top 5 with “No One”

Top 5 territory, we have Melee, showing that they are “Build to Last”. 3 weeks already at number 4, we have the “Bubbly” Colbie Cailat with her soothing track. The Click Five’s “Empty” is at 3. Which ultimately means that the top 2 songs remains where they are. Paramore is holding steady at number 2, having spent there for a month already, this is certainly starting to become “Misery Business” for them. So near yet so far! As for the number one song, they certainly would not bother how long they are there! No exception for Timbaland and OneRepublic, as they are not going to “Apologize” for staying at the top for one whole month, equaling Plain White T’s and My Chemical Romance’s record of the longest stay at number one.

What we will be looking at next week would be whether Timbaland is able to hold for 5 weeks in a row, Plain White T just missed out on that by one, while My Chemical Romance were at the top for 5 weeks, but not consecutive, so can giant Producer Timbaland make it? Only time can tell. Will Paramore be cursed to stay for yet another week at 2, or can they make a happy ending by becoming the last number one song of 2007. How about The Click Five, they are certainly speeding up the charts. Perhaps Colbie Cailat might make a comeback, don’t leave out Melee, or even Alicia Keys! but be sure to stay tune to the 987 top 20 countdown every Friday from 8-11, and repeats on Sunday from 11-1, only on 987 FM. Crap my blogskin is screwed, will be having a new one later, will make my own one when school reopens. My little toe is got crashed by a 5 kg weights, and i can barely walk, my toe still swelling, and its BLACK, internal bleeing? cant do footdrill for at least the whole of next week. But hopefully i will be back when sjab chalet comes! which's from 25-27, rather late notice, and i need everyone who can make it inform me or jianler asap, cos there's not much space left.
