if you were out on the streets yesterday, you would most probably be bombarded by sjab ppl asking for donations. i was allocated to woodlands. a place which i have never been to. and the bus ride from hc to woodlands is already 1 hour. lol.

while waiting for our bus, we saw sir jianwei. "donated" 10 bucks to me and weidong. and another $5 to chaoxu. grand total of $25 =.=. it would have been a case of money well spend if you went to buy food/towels etc to those really in need. but sjab...

either way thanks! when we reach there. there were already ppl camping in their FULL UNIFORM. while i admire their RESPECT and the IMPORTANCE of wearing the FULL BRIGADE U and their NUMEROUS CPB BADEGES, they really shouldnt have placed their bags on the shoulder flash. sorry if this statement had offended you one way or another

me and chaoxu started to walk around causeway point to find a nice spot to camp. but only to find more ppl wearing the u. being such adventurous ppl we decided to comb the woodlands area. and we finally found a nice route for camping (irony). it was the WOODLANDS COMMUNITY CENTRE. great spot cos parents send their children there for lessons every now and then. and there were vending machines below. so ppl will obviously have spare change after they buy their drinks or snacks (which were hyperinflated eg. coke zero 500 ml bottle $1.70). great spot isnt it?

freaking hot and tired. my can was a slightly more than a quater full. which can be considered average. but this year i had more ppl donating NOTES. other than that it was quite disappointing. lol. ppl in woodlands are really good.

- when they see us approaching (around 10m away) them. they would suddenly take out their handphone and stone there.

-for those who are more acrobatic, they can manourve and make the ledgendary 360 turn. for the noober ones they can only make a tight 90degree turn

-they are also very talented in their oral skills. chaoxu=cx

then chaoxu was asking a old man for donations. and he was already reaching for his pocket. *excitement* but then he look at tin and said "FOR THE SERVICE OF MANKIND??" and walked away.

in the midst of all these, i also have some fun with one of the residents. there was this caucasian (around 50 years old) buying snacks at cc for his daughter. so i asked him "excuse me sir, would you like to donate some money....etc" and he replied

"NO. I AM A STINGY ...(vocab which is out of my knowledge) OLD MAN"

i replied "ohhh....dont say that!"

"NO. BUT I AM REALLY STINGY MAN." (went to his pockets and took out a 20cent coin)

"thanks!"

"WAIT. thats not enough! (search for more coins)"

=.= lol pretty hilarious. in the end i thnk he gave me around 2 bucks.

whoa jianler had a FULL TIN filled to the brim. you can even feel the two bucks at the opening. weidong went to buy slurpee, and there was suppose to be a free upsize during the promotion period. but they ran out of giant cups lol. out of desperation weidong went to buy. and all it came out was a diluted aqueous solution of slurpee. note when i say it is aqueous, it isnt even frozen. lol

looks like the world cant go round without money $$$
