Well at least there won't be anymore lessons until next year January 2009! But on the other hand, exams are just 3 days away. MASSIVE fails~!

Been very busy with mugging this few days. Nothing much. Except for that today is Cui Sheng's birthday! Chairman! It's been a year, and i think I'm beginning to like 3A2- especially cuisheng and aaron. Great friends! And there's always Tze Yong Zhi (lol) Ching Hun, Jun Han and Chong Yee providing the laughs. C'mon ppl! Lets go tower block!

Flag raising. Damn it. Dropped the national flag yesterday >< the wind was damn strong. Disappointing. Ha at least i won't be doing it until 13 october=D no stress~

On a side note, Gym Class Heroes just realeased their new album! Titled The Quilt

Contrary to popular beliefs, their first single is actuallyPeace Sign/ Index Down, and it brings back their original sound from their first album with the raps and swearing. This track also includes Busta Rhymes. Well it didn't really make the charts, this was perhaps due to the very vulgar lyrics. But either way, its still a good way to start of a new album with such a catchy song.

Their second single, is obviously the more radio-friendly, mainstream Cookie Jar, which also includes the dream on the vocals. Great lyrics and an infectious chorus.

Their third single have not been announced, but after listening to the album, i would expect Guilty As Charged to be it. It features Estelle, who most famously had a hit with Kayne West earlier this year with American Boy. Great tempo, a good mix of R&B and hip-hop/rap. And it sounds like some song you would hear from movie soundtracks with people wearing tuxedo.

There are also other great tracks in the album includes a very upbeatComing Clean, Live Forever, No Place to Run which sounds similar to some of the songs played during commercials and last but not least Like Father, Like Son (Papa's Song), produced by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, and it gives a totally different kind of Gym Class Heroes you would normally know.

All in all, this a great album, and it wasn't all that bad. Definitely worth the wait. But i feel that they are still in the shadows of Cupids Chokehold , one of the biggest song last year. And I don't think any of the songs in this album would record greater success than it. Nevertheless, their new album is now much more mainstream, and would most likely attract a different group of fans. Moreover this album contains better tracks than As Cruel as School Children. Gym Class Heroes are definitely no one hit wonder. 4/5 STRONGLY RECCOMMENDS
