Really had a tough time trying to predict the songs. With You had number one written all over it, it is after all the best performing number one song of 2008, and the fact that it had a rebound, just proves how strong this song is. But my instincts tells me that the everyday-requested-song Apologize will be no1 this year.

Touch My Body would definitely be in the top 5, as it spent 3 weeks at the top and 14 weeks on the charts. Low and The Ting Ting's That's Not My Name are also serioius contender for the top3 spots, as both also spent 14 weeks on the charts.

As much as 4 Minutes may sound like a blockbuster song, it had a fairly poor chart records, something similar to last year's What I've Done, which could only appear at no6 on the year end countdown despite debuting at no3. on the top 20.

I don't think Rihanna would have a hat-trick of number 2 songs at the end of year countdown. Only Take A Bow have the muscle to squeeze into the top10, but definitely not top5, less say a no2.

Fall For You might have been featured on the top100 trailers on 987FM. Unfortunately I don't think it even has what it takes to get into top10, as this song only spent 1 week at the peak and 9 on the charts.

Last year, there were 2 no.2 songs that were able to squeeze into the top20. This year should not be any different. I would predict that there will be at least 2 non-number one songs appearing in the year end top 20.

With that, it ends the 4 part series of the top 100 preview. Next wednesday, would be the actual top 100 countdown on 987FM, from 12PM till 10PM. Be sure to catch this 10 hours special showcase of the top 100 songs that rocked Singapore in the year 2008. Till then.
