went to watch the AFF suzuki cup semi final 2nd leg between Singapore and Vietnam yesterday. me, cheng an, keith, apple, hq (and his bro) went to watch. the tickets were quite cheap- $2, compared to last time the brazil olympic team one, i think it was $13.

yea so we bought the tickets first, then there was a security check and they confiscated my water bottle..speechless

went leisure park to arcade and makan. zomg the queue for KFC and Subway was absolutely friggin long...went Subway in the end. No student meal, so quite ex. $7.70 for the cold cut trio + 2 double choc cookies + and drink. Actually it was quite worth it considering the quality...zomg after we finish eating the queu was even longer than before..as if Subway giving out free stuffs. lol

Not even 7PM when we go in, wah the stadium was already 50% filled..all the good seats were koped, in the end we had to settle for seats right at the top, which actually isnt that bad.

yea, singapore lost a match that they dominated. The singapore's defense was caught snapping by the Vietnam's swift counter attack. The only thing Lionel Lewis had to do for the whole night, was to take the ball out of the net. Singapore pushed for a goal, but seems to left their scoring boots somewhere else in singapore.

the match atmosphere's was great...i mean 48000 ppl, almost fullhouse. how often do you get that? and everyone singing the national anthem with real pride and honour, cheering the spore team, booing the viets....and shouting bodoh/buto at vietnam players...totally worth it...
