yup so yesterday was the day

ghwt faceoff @ e2max! we were the first band to register lol. had a trial run with a wii controller at one of the booths. siao my score got screwed up 300k nia. and the wii srsly sux la..graphics....

but anyway, after that the competition started off with solo category. it was total LOL the first 5 were all pri sch kids, going up on stage to play songs liek WHAT I'VE DONE and BEAT IT on EASY MODE. LOLCATS. then the emcee damn niao "wow seems liek we hav alot of gen y today". i think the parents just want them to go up and play and get a free goodie bag, anyway the registeration is foc

enough of the jokes, we finally had our first real competitive player. lol playing livin' on a prayer. duno why alot of ppl choose that song. there are just too little notes on that song, and even if you fc it, i dun think can even get above 300k..oh well that dude got liek 120k. then we wait wait....then finally our turn!

first up was my elder cousin. he played rooftops. his personal best for this song was 360K...but somehow on the stage the score drop drastically to a mere 260K. but still nt bad la...next was my younger. he played the same song- rooftops. siao emcee niao AGAIN "lets see what shao tang gona give us...oh its rooftops AGAIN. rooftops is one of the most popular song in our competition, and it is the 5th time it is played today" =.= LOL i think he did pretty well scoring. 354K, but still shy of his personal best of 410K. i was like SHIT. all their score drop. somemore my personal best is way nubber than them (cos i played a different song), if drop then can say bye bye liao.

got some careless screwups. and i didnt hit my highest streak of 555 which i got the day before. haiz i was targeting a 99%. but kinda think abt it, im the only whose score didnt drop, but instead improve! haha. then we took a break at bk. siao after our turns, all the pros turn up. shao gayyyy. some kido played the same song as me on expert mode and got liek 440+K, his brother 470+K.

next up was the band competition! we never played as a full band before, cos we dun hav an extra guitar to play the bass. so yesterday was kinda liek the first time. i think we did pretty well as a band scoring 684,262! So tats 4 u (STFU!) but for my own part, i totally screwed up 95% only, dropping 2% from just now solo. we played lazy eye again btw. dammit la. mebbe if i didnt screw up, we could hav crossed the 700k barrier...

3rd best band of the day/ 6th best band for this weekend

dun think we can qualify for the next round liao..oh well, neverthless its still quite a nice experience...and i realized one of the top scorer is Herbert Fan. who is a hci teacher rite? taught sec2 chem last year? lol
